Grocery lists

Turn the week's plan into a shopping list, add your own items, and tick them off at the store.

Food guide

How to prepare and serve each food at each age: the right size, the right texture, and what to watch for.

Allergen introduction

Peanut, egg, dairy and the other common allergens, introduced one at a time and early in the day, with a record of how each one went.

Meal and reaction log

Note what your baby ate and loved. Log a reaction, and SitBite holds that food back and tells you when to call a doctor.

Safety

Safety comes first, in every recipe

Every recipe passes an automatic safety check for your baby's age, and a person reviews it before it reaches you.

SitBite gives general feeding information, not medical advice. Talk to your paediatrician about your baby, and call 112 or 108 in an emergency.

  • No added salt, sugar, jaggery or honey before oneRecipes for babies under a year never add them. Honey is never suggested before one.
  • Choking-aware stepsEvery step says how to cut, mash or soften the food for your baby's stage.
  • One new allergen at a timePlans bring in a new allergen no more than once a week, early in the day, so you can watch for a reaction.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

When can my baby start solid food?

Most babies are ready at around six months: they can sit with support, hold their head steady and show interest in food. SitBite starts recipes at six months (corrected age for babies born early). Check with your paediatrician before you begin.

Is SitBite free?

Yes, SitBite is free during the beta. If we add paid features later, we'll show the price clearly before you pay, and payment goes through Google Play or the App Store.

We're vegetarian. Will the plans suit us?

Yes. Choose vegetarian, eggetarian or non-vegetarian for each baby, and SitBite only shows and plans recipes that match.

Is this medical advice?

No. SitBite gives general information about feeding babies. It doesn't replace your paediatrician. If your baby has allergies, a medical condition or was born early, follow your doctor's advice.

What happens to my baby's data?

It's used only to run SitBite for you. We don't show ads, sell data or use third-party tracking, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the app. Read the privacy policy.

Which phones does it work on?

SitBite is coming to Android and iPhone. Join the beta to be among the first to try it.
